Absolutley brilliant day, my first obstacle race and I loved it especially the water slide, that was fantastic. It was an excellent route with plenty of running. The monkey bars I couldn't reach as they were too high to get on as a lone runner but everyone was so friendly, I will be back next year shifts permitting. Also for the price I couldn't believe the quality of the lovely medal, t shirt and excellent goodie bag. On the day, even though it was raining heavy it didn't put me off (I nearly turned around on the drive there but thought hey I'm going to get wet anyway so what's it the matter if its raining) and guess what it was grea! And yeah I got wet, but it was the best fun I've had in a race!

Cracking event Andy , The Duckpond will be back next year. Maybe not in a wedding dress though. But definitely something daft :)

100% better than Badass. This was my first Howler and after doing Badass twice now, this is the one I'll be coming back to year on year. Great laugh and very friendly atmosphere. Kids loved it too, as plenty for them to do also! Well done and thank you to all involved!!

Very happy today, so much achieved by so many.

Today a group of us from FIT CLUB and the weight loss and better body challenge conquered the Holme Howler. With over 20 stone lost between them it was the first of many extreme challenges to come.

Very proud, lots emotion, a truly awesome day.
