Get ready to dash through Holme in a flurry of festive fun!
The Holme Santa Dash is back on Sunday, 7th December 2025, and it’s going to be merrier than ever!
Whether you're running, walking, jingling, or cheering, it’s the perfect way to kick off the Christmas season with the whole community.
Mark your calendars, tell your friends, and start practicing your “Ho Ho Ho”!
SUNDAY 7TH DECEMBER 2025
START: Holme Social Club
FINISH: The Smithy Inn
FAMILY: (2 adults, 2 children under 18) £30
ADULT: £12.50
CHILD: (AGE 9 - 17) £7.50 (AGE 3 - 8) £5 (UNDER 3 FREE)

RACE DETAILS
• Holme Social Club open from 2.30pm.
• Please arrive no later than 3.30pm.
• Start time: 4pm (it will be dusk so headtorches/lights are advisable).
• Route: around village, approx. 2km (suitable for all abilities).
• Maximum entries: 250 (must be entered in advance).
Santa Suits and maps to be collected from The Smithy Inn on Fri 5th December 5-7pm OR Sat 6th December 3-5pm
Each Entry includes: Santa Suit, Mince Pie, 1 Alcoholic Drink (18+) or 1 Soft Drink, Medal
This event is supported by The Smithy Inn, Thwaites Brewery, Holme Howler, Holme Festival of Sport and Holme Social Club
The Santa Dash is now well established in the Holme social calendar, join us for a fun run around the village in Santa costumes, all ages can enter.
It's a truly great event, fun for the whole family or as individuals, we get people from all over coming to take part.
If you have a head torch, use it. Try to make yourslef as bright as possible!
